He thanked the traditional rulers, community leaders and residents and also critical stakeholders for their unwavering support.

Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor, who commissioned some of the projects in his remarks noted,
“Today is a day of joy because our chairmen across the Ikorodu Division are making us proud and they all have listening ears and always seek for advice and inputs.
“I thank Ameen for being a diligent and trusted Vice Chairman to the immediate past Chairman for eight years without any trouble. Since he has assumed office in substantive capacity as the Chief Executive of the council, I have no doubt that he will work in harmony with Hon. Matthew Adesanya, his Vice to bring progress
“What I have seen as achievements in the first 100 days are commendable, especially the staff quarters. This will bring efficiency to healthcare delivery.
“I also notice your administration’s intervention on Itoikin Road, because we always talk about you.”

The former Deputy Governor also thanked the honourable councillors for the executive backing to achieve what they have been able to achieve and also stakeholders for collaborating with the council chairman and his administration.
He charged Apanisile and his team not to relent on his achievements and added that he must improve on what his predecessor achieved.
HRM Oba David Raji, the Eweye of Isiu, while commending the council chairman and his administration for their impact in 100 days, charged them not to relent because their are still so much ahead to be achieved.
He urged them to enshrine their names in stone by executing projects that generations yet unborn will meet and commend them.

Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo, CDC Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, speaking said that the present administration has been able to achieve so much because it remains focused on meeting the yearnings of the people rather than complaining about challenges that it met.
“From the very first day, Mayor Ameen Ibrahim Olawale Apanishile and his ever-supportive Vice Mayor, Hon. Matthew Aliu Adesanya, hit the ground running.
“They did not waste time, they did not hide behind excuses, and they did not blame the past. Rather, they leveraged the existing programmes of the previous administration and boldly broke new frontiers, demonstrating what focused leadership can achieve in a short time.
“In these 100 days, the people of Ikorodu North LCDA have felt governance. This administration has rolled out interventional and infrastructural projects across critical sectors—health, education, security, road infrastructure, and environmental management.

“From the construction of much needed box culverts linking Agbala to Apeka, Complete Renovation of Children Consultation Area, Complete renovation of Odonla Area Office, Renovation of Doctors Residence at Odo Nla PHC and the provision of Ambulance to care for critical cases that require evacuation and much overdue renovation and reconstruction of Marriage Registry to the ongoing road rehabilitation, to the strengthening of local security architecture, the evidence is visible and undeniable,” Prince Ogunbanwo said.
He also lauded the Apanisile’s administration on collaboration with private organisations, community and federal representatives.
“One of the most commendable highlights of these first 100 days is the administration’s powerful synergy with NGOs, especially WATERAID NIGERIA and OPTIMAL GREENING through this collaboration, we have witnessed the commissioning of multiple WASH facilities across our communities, schools, and markets.
“Some of these projects are already serving our people. Others are under active construction, while many more are awaiting official flag-off. This is what developmental governance looks like.

“As Chairman of the CDC, I must emphasise the renewed partnership between this administration and the community development structure. Peace has been restored to CDAs that had long suffered internal crises and stagnation.”
